Eligibility Requirements

The ElevateMeD Scholars program is a multifaceted program designed to develop the next generation of physician leaders.  In the inaugural year, ElevateMeD will competitively award $40,000 scholarships ($10,000 each year) to the ten most talented medical students from backgrounds underrepresented in medicine.

Eligibility Requirements

Student must:

  • Be nominated by a participating medical institution

  • Be actively enrolled in a Participant Medical School for the 2025-26 school year in a MD or DO program

  • Be a M4 (2025-26) and participating in the 2026 residency match cycle

  • Be in good academic standing

  • Be a U.S. citizen

  • Identify as underrepresented in medicine (Black/African-American, Hispanic/Latino, Native/Indigenous)

*Dual degree MD/PhD, MD/MPH, MD/MBA are permitted
