Mayo Clinic has been an avid supporter of ElevateMeD since our inception in 2019

Mayo Clinic was the premier sponsor of the 2024 ElevateMeD Explosion of a Dream Scholars Summit. With their support our ElevateMeD Scholars experienced workshops that were tailored toward their professional development including public speaking coaching, improvisation work, resiliency training and personal financial literacy teaching. For the first time, local youth were invited to the Summit for a special luncheon session with facilitation led by Mayo Clinic Experiential Learning where the students were mentored by ElevateMeD Scholars and learned how about donning and doffing PPE and knot tying.

Mayo Clinic was also a White Coat Sponsor of ElevateMeD’s annual fundraiser, Explosion of a Dream 2024; where many Mayo Clinic staff and affiliates show up to support the ElevateMeD Scholars Program. Mayo Clinic CEO in Arizona, Dr. Richard Gray shared remarks this year and was introduced by 2024-25 ElevateMeD Scholar and 4th year Mayo Clinic Alix School of Medicine medical student, Casey Martinez.
