I am most proud of my upbringing! Hailing from a large African-American Family and a rural town in North Carolina, my personal, academic, and professional journeys are all influenced by the experiences, lessons, and values instilled in me during my formative years. The people, places, and prayers have made me who I am today!
You might be surprised to know that I love playing bingo and singing karaoke, even though I have minimal musical ability.
ElevateMeD is… a diverse and dynamic community committed to supporting individuals who demonstrate not only academic excellence but also a passion for making a positive impact in healthcare.
