You might be surprised to know that I LOVE to roller skate, write movie reviews and play with my Chihuahua.
ElevateMeD is… an organization dedicated to creating a physician workforce that reflects the backgrounds of the patient’s we treat. It’s also a home for us to come together to support and grow alongside each other.

I chose to pursue a career in anesthesiology because I enjoy moment-to-moment decision making as well as the practical application of physiology and pharmacology. 3% of anesthesiologists are reported to identify as Black/African-American. Of those 3%, the majority are women.
